For Dogs who have nothing, not even a name....

Donations
Most of our dogs arrive at the Homes with nothing, no lead, no collar, not even a name.To have something they can call their own means more to them than you could possibly imagine. We are always grateful for donations! Donations can be dropped in to Cardiff Dogs Home and Newport City Dogs Home during opening hours, 10.30 till 4.00pm.

- Dog Food: We are absolutely thrilled to share the news that Burns Pet Nutrition have very generously agreed to sponsor the food for our dogs in Cardiff Dogs Home. Burns is an exceptionally high quality complete food, and is the nom-noms of choice for our dogs in Cardiff Dogs Home! If you would like to help put food into our dogs' bellies, check out the list of stockists here. Burns Pet Nutrition. Please note, although we like to keep a small variety of different foods on our shelves for some dog who may be used to a different diet, we do not feed Bakers or Wagg to any of our dogs, and we are unable to accept opened bags. Any foods that are donated that we are not able to use in the shelters are donated forwards to street dogs.
- Toys: New or preloved in good condition, our dogs love toys! Squeaky ones, squidgy soft ones, balls, tuggies, we are always grateful for toys!
- Bedding: Our dogs love big old blankets to keep them warm in their kennels! We can't take duvets, pillows, or anything with stuffing or filling, as these can be a choking hazard. But we always need towels and big woollen blankets - the kind you find in your grannie's airing cupboard! Hospital blankets, army blankets, bring them down!
- Leads, Collars, Harnesses, coats: New or preloved, as long as they are in good condition, our dogs love to look good!
- Treats: Our dogs favourite treats are those that keep them occupied as well as being tasty! Their preference is for stuffed hooves and pizzles! Available from Pets at Home, and from our Amazon Wish List
